I'm a brand strategist and web designer based in Finger Lakes of New York. I work with small business owners who know they need to upgrade their digital presence but aren't sure where to start—or who've already invested in branding that isn't working.

I don't do flashy or trendy. I do strategic, thoughtful, and built to last.
My Story
I create with intention, simplicity, and elegance. I'm drawn to real connections, authenticity, and work that matters. I organize, plan, and make things happen—but I also find wonder in nature, singing harmonies, and pushing past my own limits.
I took a winding road to get here—from arts administration to entrepreneurship to brand strategy and web design. Along the way, I've learned to lead, build, and grow.
I co-founded Miel Beauty with my sister in 2014. I led the brand, marketing, operations and customer experience, and learned quickly how challenging running a brick-and-mortar business can be. After 3 years, we faced a crossroads when my sister's family relocated, and we sold the business.
That experience taught me what I know now: businesses that thrive aren't just the ones with pretty branding. They're the ones built on strong foundations—clear positioning, deep customer understanding, and systems that support growth.

After the sale of my business, I partnered with a talented visual designer to co-launch Water + Sky, a design studio working with entrepreneurs and small businesses to create thoughtful, strategic branding. It was refreshing to support others, using what I learned from being in their shoes.

I've designed for Public House, a branding, packaging and design studio in Ontario that specializes in food & beverage, hospitality, events and start-ups. One of my favorite projects was a brand refresh and rollout for a celebrated, Toronto-based monthly wine subscription.

Today, I work independently with clients to build brands and websites that align with their values and goals. Recent work includes redesigning the website for the Town of Caroline, creating a fresh digital presence that serves their community.
EDUCATION + GROWTH
I earned a Graphic Design Certificate from Shillington in 2021, a respected global design bootcamp. In a feature on Creative Boom, my portfolio was described as “full of stunning work… you can easily see her world experience reflected in its sophistication, thoughtfulness and precision.”

I completed the REV Passenger to Pilot program in 2016, a network of entrepreneurial women around Ithaca, NY through mentorship, regular meetings, and workshops. This provided the foundation for growing Miel Beauty and unlocked insights, strategies, and courage I still use to this day.
PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS
I’m a proud mom of twins who are growing into incredible teens. 👯

I co-founded Five2, a vocal group in 2003. We recorded an album released in the U.S. and Japan, with our music featured in TV shows and movies throughout the years.

I still sing and play in 2/3 of Five2 🤭 with folk duo, Uniit & Yvette.
